Ultrasonography of the Shoulder: Normal Findings
Kim Joon-Sung

Abstract
The shoulder is one of the most common applications of musculoskeletal ultrasonography due to the high incidence of rotator cuff disorders related to aging and sports activities. Ultrasonography has proved to be a useful diagnostic tool with shoulder pain. It allows careful assessment of a wide range of changes involving many different anatomic structures of the shoulder girdle, such as the rotator cuff tendons, the long head of the biceps tendon, the bursae, and the soft tissues of the gleno-humeral and acromioclavicular joints.
